Electronics Recycling
Month is a statewide campaign sponsored by the Virginia Recycling
Association (VRA) and Computer Recycling Initiative to educate
Virginians about the hazards that discarded electronics pose
to the environment.

Ten people
who recycle won prizes from the Virginia Recycling Association
in celebration of America Recycles 2005, a national awareness
campaign that generates excitement about recycling. more
2005 CONFERENCE AND AWARDS
On
September 26 and 27, 118 people assembled in Charlottesville
for the annual Virginia Recycling Association Conference and
Trade Show. The conference featured a number of informative
sessions, an exhibit hall of diverse recycling businesses,
a silent auction, an evening social and the VRA's annual business
meeting where the president gave the annual report.

and offices have a recycle program, usually a desk-side paper
bin. On the other side of the building is the trash compactor
going to the landfill. Wouldn’t it be great to get more out
