Board Elections

The 2004 VRA Board of Directors election concluded Thursday, October 28. Three individuals were chosen by the membership to serve the Board for a two-year term expiring December 2006. Two are new members of the Board and one is a re-elected member of the Board. They join Michael Clem, Steve Heinitz, Gloria Puffinburger and John Schlegel, whose terms expire in December 2005.

  • Meredith Eisenberg
    Meredith is the public outreach manager for the Fairfax County Recycling Program. She has 10 years of experience in local government/association marketing and has planned many award-winning marketing campaigns and events including the annual Community Recycling Road Show, which was recognized as top ARD event in the country by America Recycles Day Inc. in 2004 and a successful Reuse-A-Shoe Campaign. In her bio, Meredith shared that she hopes to “put her marketing and event planning skills to use to help the VRA promote recycling throughout Virginia.”
  • Cassandra Kincaid
    Cassandra Kincaid is the president of Esquire Environmental Services, Inc., a female-owned small business that provides environmental consulting services and recycling solutions to commercial, institutional, local, state and federal government entities. In addition, Cassandra is a founding partner in the Northern Virginia law firm of Troxell, Kincaid & Mullin, P.L.C.
  • Kelley Bartell Hope
    Kelley is the public information coordinator for the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA). Kelley coordinates the Authority’s efforts to educate the public about recycling and to encourage participation in Authority programs. She develops outreach activities and events, organizes television, radio and print media and directs publication design and production.
